Hloniphile Mzizi is director and 100% shareholder of Ncayiya Traditional Culture (Pty) Ltd, registered in April 2022. The business is a Level 1 contributor, a 100% Black women-owned exempted micro-enterprise, based in Ward 11, Nyangwini Area, Mtwalume.
Ncayiya focuses mainly on beadwork in KwaZulu-Natal and surrounding areas. As an SMME it supports other businesses and people who have been disadvantaged, looking for industries where beadwork knowledge can still grow.
The vision is skilled, cost-effective services for people who want traditional beadwork, with a particular focus on teaching youth and elders. Hloniphile now works with a loom bead machine as well as hand techniques. The studio has shown at Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre and South Coast Mall.
